Having recently completed Cornwall’s Outset and Princes Trust Business Start-up courses Emma Digerud-Waring, a designer living in Illogan, (Cornwall) is now ready to launch her Greetings Card Business – Heart Kiss Hug, at Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival this weekend (15-16 June 2013).
With friends and family living far away (as well as round the corner) Emma feels strongly about the importance of saying ‘hello’ and telling people that they’re missed by sending something personal and real.
“There’s something so special about sending and receiving cards in the post and I want to remind people to keep doing it and to do it with beautiful and unique designs”
Postage stamps and a special Sea Shanty Postbox will be on the Heart Kiss Hug stall in Falmouth’s Event Square encouraging visitors to send her postcard, card and notelet designs on the spot.
With Emma’s latest designs being inspired by Cornwall’s beautiful beaches and sea life, the Sea Shanty Festival was the perfect place to launch.
“It will be the first time my designs will be in front of a large audience so I’m definitely a bit nervous but mostly very excited. Please come and say hello if you’re down there, it will be a great event whatever the weather”
